We all know that Walmart launched 2 cheaper alternatives for Google Chromecast last year under its own ONN brand. Now, 91mobiles.com has confirmed that it is planning something big. It has spotted Walmart’s 4K Pro streaming device with Google TV on the Bluetooth SIG Certification website. This means Walmart’s 4K pro beast is loading.
The Onn Google TV 4K Streaming Box and Onn Google TV full HD Streaming device are priced at $20 and $15, respectively, by Walmart. Therefore, we could expect that this 4K Pro Streaming device will also come with a pocket-friendly price tag.
Walmart is planning to launch a Google TV streaming device with much better features. It may have features like better hardware and 4K performance compared to the previous models. Speculations are going on that this device might come with a Dolby Vision feature, a missed feature on previous devices.
The listing also encrypts the following details: the Device’s name, Company details, product website, model number, and description. It also confirms that the device will feature Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity. You can expect an improvised version of the previous model with an increase in RAM size and ports. This device is getting closer to release, and we could sense it because the other listing is scheduled to be released on April 9.
So far we just know that a pro device is being launched by Walmart. But we are not likely to know about the exact price and release date. We can expect a sooner launch, and the price will also be as affordable as the previous products launched by Walmart. Hopefully, the pro model will be more feature-enriched and reasonable than the other non-pro model devices.
